Our Story
At Sharjah National Oil Corporation we are committed to leading in energy resilience and innovation.
Wholly owned by the government and operating with autonomy, we have proudly served as the custodian of Sharjah’s oil and gas legacy since October 2010.
Our roots can be traced back to the emirate’s first gas discovery in 1978—the Sajaa Asset—a defining milestone that marked the beginning of our journey in shaping the region’s energy landscape.
